Types of Dentures

There are two main types of dentures Dr. Bronecki creates. Both are pain-free methods of restoring your mouth’s functionality and aesthetics.

Full Dentures

Full dentures replace all teeth on either the top or bottom part of your mouth. They are very secure in your mouth but also easily removed and cleaned.

Partial Dentures

These types of dentures fill in when several teeth are missing in a row. This is different from a bridge because the materials and partial dentures fully replace the missing teeth.

Immediate Dentures

Immediate dentures are when you already have teeth and need them extracted. These dentures are place right after so you don't have to go without teeth.

Denture FAQ

  • How do I take care of dentures?

    Brush your dentures at least once per day with a soft-bristle toothbrush and denture cleaner. It’s also important to soak them overnight to kill more bacteria.

  • Can I sleep with dentures?

    While you could sleep with your dentures in, it is best practice not to do so. Your mouth gets dry as you sleep, and this causes more bacteria to grow. Keeping them moist overnight helps them keep their shape, too.
